Hello Amjed,
This new feature was only introduced in 5.4.0 and later so if you use an older version you cannot use this.
Again the community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Jun 12, 2013 Question: How can I limit access to certain menu’s?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
As you are a Service Provider or a SIP PABX provider I suggest you work with our Sales Team in your region if you require any enhancement or backporting of features.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards

Hello Amjed,
welcome back to the Polycom Community.
Did you ever solve this issue => here <= or follow this up as suggested?
It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.
Please also include if you are using a SIP server or a LYNC server
If LYNC or Skype please provide Version details and if these are on premise of off premise
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.
The above is also stated in the "Read First: Welcome to the Polycom VoIP Forum"
Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here
In addition the community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Aug 13, 2015 Question:Can access to the Phones Basic settings menu be restricted?
Resolution: UC Software 5.4.0 added the new up.basicSettingsPasswordEnabled="1" Parameter to prompt for a Password.
Please ensure you always check the community FAQ and/or utilize the community search before posting any new topics or follow up post’s.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hello @Abanico,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.
Please also provide the type of phone you are using.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.
The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .
In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.
Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here
Since UC Software 5.5.2 we do support up.hideSystemIpAddress so please check the relevant Release notes on details on this.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hello @Netech ,
Welcome to the Poly Community.
Both the communities Must Read First or Read 1st and if available the FAQ reference the basic minimum information a new or follow-up post should contain.
This ensures the questions having to be asked are limited and any new or follow-up post contains the right amount of details to ensure any voluntary participant within the community does not spend additional time chasing basic information.
Unfortunately, your post fell a bit short of the above-explained requirements and we kindly ask you, therefore, to ensure to read these sections and ensure a reply (not Edit!) provides as much detail as possible
Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the FAQs listed in my signature for your convenience.
For example:
Mar 08, 2013 Question: Where can I download configuration files from or create these myself?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
Steffen Baier
