Disable SoundPoint Speaker Phone

We have a brother who ask us to disable the speaker phone functionality on some SoundPoint 335s in our society, because some housekeepers are disturbing with calling some one in the corridor. Is their an option to disable this?

welcome to the Polycom Community.

You may want to look at the following Parameter:

 

up.handsfreeMode

 

from the Admin Guide:

 

If 0, the handsfree speakerphone is disabled (cannot be used). If 1, the handsfree speakerphone is enabled.

But I don't understand when you say: from Admin Guide. It' does mean from menu button?

Where can I found the up.handsfreeMode parameter?

Hello Justin,

You will need to create a configuration file and import it via the Web Interface (Only UCS 4.0.0 or newer) or load it from your provisioning server.

 

I suggest you check the FAQ for examples.
