Hi

Is there a way to disable the configuration page in the VVX models via the config files?

Basically shown in the status of our phones it states 124 errors from with the phoneMAC.cfg file - this is due to unpopulated tags that are used but have no values in and are only used when required - for example:

  <softkey softkey.1.label="%SOFTKEY_1_NAME%" softkey.1.action="%SOFTKEY_1_ACTION%" softkey.1.enable="%SOFTKEY_1_ENABLE%" softkey.1.insert="%SOFTKEY_1_INSERT%" softkey.1.precede="%SOFTKEY_1_PRECEDE%" softkey.1.use.idle="%SOFTKEY_1_USE_IDLE%" softkey.1.use.alerting="%SOFTKEY_1_USE_ALERTING%" softkey.1.use.hold="%SOFTKEY_1_USE_HOLD%" softkey.1.use.dialtone="%SOFTKEY_1_USE_DIALTONE%" softkey.1.use.active="%SOFTKEY_1_USE_ACTIVE%"

if you dont enable softkey 1 under the device the phone will see this as an error when in fact its not, its simply a variable that is not being used.

Many thanks

Dave

Hello David,

there is no way to do this and you should focus on only providing parameters that have a value other than the factory default.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
