Osum-The IP7000 use with a MIM (multi interface module) is intended to support a large conference room and extend the sound.  So there is no current way to disable the main speaker of the phone when extending to external speakers.

External speakers are enabled by using the phones Menu Press, and then select Settings > Basic > Audio >

Auxiliary Audio > Aux Audio Out.

To enable external speakers, scroll to External Speaker, and then press Select

From the MIM assessories page 2 we see:

Auxiliary Audio output
Has RCA jacks supporting auxiliary audio output to amplifier or powered speakers, thus enabling more room filling sound.
