Hi,

We have acquired couple of VVX 500 phones before our full scale deployment (some 500 in total).

The support for Korean input will be the determining factor of choosing this model.

After days of thorough reading of VVX specific documents and UC admin guide, we were disappointed to find that there is no way to do it on the phone.

Is it correct to conclude that there is no method available for Korean input?

If not, can you guide us to any clues?

(For example, should we develop a third-party application like PinYin text input app?)

Appreciate your help in advance.

Regards

Hello Wonbin,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

According to product management only PinYin is currently supported on the VVX1500 as explained => here <=

I can only recommend to work with your Polycom Reseller to bring this to the attention of our Product Manager via a feature request based on the size of the deployment in question.

Best Regards
