I have a VVX 410 with a line which I do NOT want to register, but the phone continues to complain about the line not being registered. Here is the polycom config with the not-relevant items removed.
reg.6.auth.userId="ewie_XXX5134673" reg.6.address="ewie_XXX5134673" reg.6.label="XXX-513-4673" reg.6.auth.password="mypassword" reg.6.lineKeys="1" reg.6.callsPerLineKey="1" reg.6.server.1.address="outbound.bobdobbs.net" reg.6.server.1.register="0" />
Hello ewieling1,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.
Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here
In addition the reg.x.server.y.register parameter are for SIP Server Fallback Enhancements so I do not believe this is what you are after.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
