Following the instructions in the following document I am trying to downgrade the BootROM in an IP650 handset (Currently running Updater 5.0.3 and Version 4.0.3);
Engineering Advisory 64731
Polycom® UC Software 4.0.x
Upgrade and Downgrade Methods
The document states;
To Downgrade SoundPoint IP Phones and SoundStation IP 5000 Phones:
1 Visit the Voice Support page and select your phone from the list.
2 Locate BootROM 4.5.0 B Downgrader under the Downloads section and save the files onto your
computer.
Visiting the 'Voice' Support page though and selecting IP650 there is no file 'BootROM 4.5.0 B Downgrader' available.
There is a screen shot shown within the following post from 13th June 2012 whch shows the file WAS available but its gone now;
http://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP/SoundPoint-IP-650-Upgrade-to-UC-Software-4-0-x/m-p/16056
Can anyone let me know where I can download this file from now or does anyone have a copy they can send me.
Cheers.
