Hello Nikita,

what makes you assume the phone is trying to download the wrong files?

The phone would not just make up these names and always looks for its standard files or files that have been named in a configuration file.

Factory reset the unit and provision it from a local ftp server and then check the phone logs.

Best Regards

I have another SPIP4000 , same firmware and here is what I see from his syslogs:

0825000022|so |3|00|Platform: Model=SoundStation SSIP 4000, Assembly=2201-06642-001 Rev=A

Platform: Board=2201-06642-001 A

This what makes me think that is is wrong.

Hi,

never seen anything like it from memory and I would suggest contacting your Polycom reseller.

Hello Steffen,

Could you please let me understand if on Polycom vvx 400 syslog port is customizable or syslog uses the default 514 port?

Thank you,

Nick Toader

Hello Nick Toader,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

To my knowledge Syslog utilizes port 514 and is not configurable.

Also did you ever follow up your old posts =>  here <=

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
