Hi there,

I'm new to VOIP and rather non-technical.  We had an IT guy order us a PolyCom SoundPoint IP 335 to use with our OnSIP account.  He's since left the company and we've just moved offices...and I have no idea how to get this thing set up again.

The docs on this site area a bit too technical for my understanding.

The phone is in an endless reboot loop where it says "Error Saving Applications"

What I've done:

- Plugged phone into power

- Plugged in handset

- Plugged phone into our wifi card

The wifi network here is different from the one we used to have.  I suspect I need to plug the phone directly into my computer and do some stuff with it, but I don't know what to do once I do that.

What do I do?  Is there a software utility I need to download (I'm on a Macbook Pro)?  Do I need to somehow wipe out an admin password on the phone to log into it after I connect it to my computer?

Thanks!

Hello blora,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

We encourage all users to read the Read First and check the FAQ => here <=

Within the FAQ we specify to supply the SIP / UCS Software Version in any new post.

Depending on this Software Version the phones rely on the Provisioning Server which seems to be missing in your environment since you have moved.

I would suggest to seek professional assistance or follow up on the troubleshooting steps provided within the community.

Best Regards
