I'm trying to order the correct external mics for the CX3000 conference phone.  I've ordered from two different vendors now and I have received the same thing both times but I don't think they are the right pod mics for the CX3000.

I'm trying to order these mics: http://www.101phones.com/details/45999/polycom-2200-15855-001.html that are HD voice quality with “360-Degree Audio Pickup”.  But what I keep receiving are mics like this: http://www.101phones.com/details/558/polycom-2200-16155-001.html

The mics that I have received are labeled with the 2200-15855-001 part number but they are round rather than triangle shaped.  Also, an odd thing is that the boxes are labeled "Rev B" but the pod mics in the box are labeled "Rev A".

Do I have the right mics for the CX3000 or should I RMA these again and hold out for the right ones?

Hello,

as already replied above the 2200-15855-001 is the correct number and look like this:

Some resellers show the Microphones that are actually for the SSIP7000 instead.

Hello scheumanrj,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

From our Price list:

2200-15855-001

Expansion Microphone Kit for CX3000 and SoundStation Duo. Includes two expansion mics and 2.1m (7ft) connection cables.

The Rev on the actual Hardware is the Microphone rev, the Rev on the Box may just indicate the Label revision.

Thanks for the reply.

The part number seems to be correct (2200-15855-001) but they are round rather than triangle shaped.  See the pictures of the microphones on the two links that I posted.  This leads me to believe that I have not received the correct parts and that these are not HD voice quality with “360-Degree Audio Pickup”.

Can you please confirm what they should look like?
