[FAQ] How can I join two calls on a Polycom Phone?

The below example screenshots are from a SSIP5000 running UC Software 4.0.9 and a VVX500 running UC Software 5.2.3

 

When an outgoing or incoming call is placed on hold the User has the ability to dial a new call.

 

Once the new call is connected the Phone will offer the More soft key:

Pressing the More soft key will offer the Join soft key:

NOTE: When the conference initiator ends the call the remaining parties are staying connected!

 

In order for the calls to be terminated when the Conference initiator leaves the call the following Parameter must be disabled:

 

<community call.transferOnConferenceEnd="0" />
