  • Telnet is disabled by default.

  • H.323 is available on certain Poly phones

  • RTP and RTCP can use any even port between 2222 and 2269 (2317 in VVX-1500), but this is configurable by setting tcpIpApp.port.rtp.mediaPortRangeStart.


The Admin Guide for Poly Phones includes all ports used. The Poly Trio as an example has all >inbound< and >outbound< ports listed.

The title Polycom Employee & Community Manager is a community setting and does not reflect my role. I am just a simple volunteer in the community like everybody else. My official "day" Job is 3rd Level support at Poly but I am unable to provide official support via the community.
