[FAQ] Where can I find the Software for the Polycom CX Phone range?

Polycom and other manufacturers produce these optimized for Microsoft® Lync® or Skype® for Business devices after a reference design and the embedded OS running on the phones is provided, supported and maintained by our partner Microsoft®.

You therefore may want to reach out to Microsoft® support directly instead as this is the most direct and efficient path.

 

Polycom does not host the firmware on these devices and our Partner Microsoft and Microsoft hosts and distributes this software.

 

Only Microsoft can provide access to older software versions and you can only update these CX phones via a Skype for Business or LYNC server.

 

The Software for the Polycom CX500, CX600, CX700, CX3000 and CX5000 should be found => here <=

 

The CX100, CX200 and CX300 require an installed Version of Microsoft® Office Communicator or LYNC and the required Drivers are installed automatically.
