FW update for Soundstation IP 7000

Hi there,

 

Our firewall rules do not allow outbound connections to your FW server but I see the option for running my own server.   Can you give me details on what I need to set that up?

The FAQ is a overview for the different methods allowing you to upgrade.

 

Example for the Polycom hosted platform:

1211162704|copy |3|00|'http://downloads.polycom.com/voice/software/3111-48600-001.xml' from 'downloads.polycom.com(140.242.65.96)'

The IP in this case is 140.242.65.96

Also could you give me the IP address of your server as well as port numbers?  I might be able to get permission internally to open up our outbound to it.

the IP's all easily to be found out simply using the tracert command in a dos window or your IT team can verify this.

Traceroute to what host name?  I don't see a host name in the link you provided.  Or if it is there it is buried because you linked to an FAQ with dozens of questions and answers.
