I've bought a bunch of 560s and some only have self-signed certificates.  8x8 requires the Polycom factory installed certificate for authentication/configuration purposes.  They mentioned that I could contact Polycom and pay to have this done, but I can't seem to find anything, or even a number to call or email to contact.

Anyone have any idea about this?

Hello treythompson,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

To my knowledge, as the name suggests, these certificates are only installed in the factory and not meant for end customer installation.

The Feature Descriptions & Technical Notifications contains this technical bulletin => here <= that gives an overview since when this facility was introduced and how you can import your own certificates.

Above depends on the yet currently unknown phone software that your phones are running.

All contact details for Polycom support are within my signature.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
