This would be helpful in syncing items like contacts and calander items from the desktop to a cell phone to the polycom phone

Hello api_cjohnson,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

The community is not the correct place for such request.

 

You need to contact your Polycom reseller in order to work with a Polycom sales engineer. This will enable you to create a feature request via a business proposal to justify such request.

 

In addition we already support calendar syncronisation via a local exchange server and contacts via LDAP.

Do you know if Polycom has added ActiveSync functionality to its VVX500 or VVX600 IP Phones? Our company is holding back on purchasing these phones until we see this functionality in a firmware upgrade.

 

If your development team has plans of integrating activesync support, when is it scheduled for release?

welcome to the Polycom Community.

New features are usually listed in the Release notes and the Admin Guides.

 

The Feature that you are after is not currently implemented and any future roadmap can only be discussed once a NDA agreement has been signed.

 

You will need to work with a Polycom sales engineer in order to get informed.
