Not sure where to make suggestions/requests to Polycom but this feature is great except when I'm trying to confirm settings/directory/etc via remote evening upgrades when no one is on premise.  Once the phone reboots, I would have to rely on a local presense to enable the screen capture again.

It would be a great benefit to allow a config on the provisioning server to force this, or even a temporary window to enable via the web interface, i.e. enable for 5min, etc.

Hello pingram3541,

To my knowledge this feature must be manually enabled on a phone after each reboot in order to prevent remote activation to monitor someone’s phone.

You may be able to simulate the key presses via the PUSH API instead.

Hello,

We are currently developing a web panel for managing Polycom phones. At the moment we enable ScreenCapture after each restart by emulating keypresses, but this solution is vulnerable to changes in provisioning which change the position of ScreenCaptue submenu.

Is there any way to enable it via push, similar to Action:UpdateConfig ?

Best regards,

Robert Maliszewski

You may want to quote VOIP-99500 when you work with a Polycom sales engineer.
