Hello,

I look for how to send an HTTP request to simulate pressing on the button "off-hook" / "on-hook", to take an incoming call.

Before, I used SNOM phones, and it was possible to do that with this command :

http://X.X.X.X/command.htm?key=OFFHOOK

I looked in the HTTP PUSH documentation for developers, but I haven't found a solution.

http://www.polycom.com/content/dam/polycom/common/documents/guides/spip-ssip-vvx-developers-qrg-enus...

Is that possible?

Thank you.

Hello aurels,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

This is a little more complex and not yet officially documented.

The Phones status needs to be queried in order to determine the current call reference for the specific call you are after.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Nov 10, 2014 Question:How can I check the status of a Polycom SoundPoint IP, SoundStation IP or a VVX Phone?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Based on the above CallReference a PUSH command can be send to the phone with a Critical state so the Phone actions this.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Feb 04, 2013 Question: Can I remotely control the Phone or send content to the Phone?

Answer: The <apps/> parameter can be used to utilize the push server controls and more information can be found => here <=

The String to answer the specific call for example would look like:

<PolycomIPPhone><Data priority="Critical">CallAction:Answer;nCallReference=0xddb370</Data></PolycomIPPhone>

To hang up the call it would look like:

<PolycomIPPhone><Data priority="Critical">CallAction:Endcall;nCallReference=0xddb370</Data></PolycomIPPhone>

The 0x is always required before the actual CallReference and I will by the end of the month create a detailed FAQ article outlining other commands.
