For endpoint models -  335,450,550,560,650,670 - running 4.0.9 sip.ld on a sip system with a linux provisioning server, what would I need to do to ensure that the endpoints mentioned above just provision without any additional interaction aside from typing in the provisioning server URL as shown here:

any step by steps you can provide would be welcome..

Would the same steps hold true for VVX series endpoints?

Hello Speedstream,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Could you ensure to provide some feedback if these other reply's => here <= have helped you so other users can profit from your experience before posting a new question?

In regards to your new question as long as the HTTPS server uses one of our pre-loaded certificates as shown => here <= for the UC Software 4.0.9

This is also applicable and all certificate updates per software version are listed => here <=

Where would I be able to download those files?

Do I put themin the endpoint drectory?

Hello Speedstream,

what files are you after ?

The phone software as listed in the above reply contains a certain amount of certificate authorities which we automatically trust.

That way no certificates need to be placed on the phone prior to provisioning.

If you do not use such certificate authority you can load a self signed certificate on the phone.

Wouldn't I need to put one of those certs listed in the pdf onto the server in order for the phone to provision via https?

HP Recommended

Hello Speedstream,

The certificate on your server needs to be from / signed by the certificate authority our phones trust based on the build in certificates.

You may also want to look at this publicly available documents => here <= and => here <=

I suggest you follow this up with a Polycom reseller as they can get you in touch with a Polycom sales Engineer which are able to offer several Polycom professional service options in case you struggle implementing this.
