I am tryign to create a one-sheet to hang in our conference rooms with several options for using the RealPresence Trio phone. I notice many users hardwire their laptop to the phone. Is the main benefit that you are using the phone's audio? Is there any other benefit to plugging the laptop in directly to the phone? I just need a sheet of "best practice" bullet points and I wasn't sure if there was any other reason to do that. Any feedback is sure appreciate. -- Mark

The Polycom RealPresence Trio can be used as follows:

USB to be utilized as a Audio Device for the connected Laptop / PC
USB to share content to a connected Polycom RealPresence Visual+
Bluetooth as a Audio Device
Wired Network to utilize Microsoft LYNC / Skype for Business to share content via a client to a connected Polycom RealPresence Visual+
