Hello @Harishyadav1465,

nothing new has been added to UC Software 5.8.1 which was not previously documented.

We would need to know a lot more details as what you have provided.

  • What type type of SIPSwitch are you using?
  • Are you using attendant.uri or attendant.resourceList.x.address ?
  • What configuration have you tested?
  • Do you have any logs and/or wireshark traces?

There is nothing special needed and as an example this FAQ can be followed:

Nov 4, 2011 Question: How can I setup a Busy Lamp Field / BLF with an Digium Asterisk SIP Server?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Community members can try and help you but somehow you marked old posts as Solution provided but then ask for the same / similar things again in new posts.

If this all fails please open a ticket.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

End Customers are unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.

We already provided who to contact for support in another post.

As the unit is no longer within warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Hello,

With help of FAQ ,I have set it up the working BLF.Still i have one doubt that follows below.

I am using  the call.parkedCallRetrieveMethod="native" in MAC-sip-interop.cfg,which is used pickup the acive call on the resource line...this is working fine before the 5.6 UC versions.

When I upgrade the UC software after 5.7 ,its working but I have to press and hold the BLF key and hit retrieve to Pickup the resource active call. is there any way to pickup directly without hold the blf key.

         coming to the details :

         1) We are using opensips

         2) We are using attendant.resourceList.x.address           3)We tested call.parkedCallRetrieveMethod="native",attendant.resourceList.x.type="automata"

Thank you

Hello @Harishyadav1465,

you are referencing filenames but never attached the minimum required information.

In order for anyone to try and help you we need at least a backup and some SIP logs in debug

For myself I am unable to provide free support but other community members can try and help.

If this all fails we already outlined your options:

  • Stay on a software version where you have this working
  • Contact your Polycom reseller for support
