Normally, when the phone receives BYE message from the SIP server, the phone will hang up at once. I would like whether Polycom IP331 or IP650 can play busy tone for a few seconds before hang up after receiving BYE message.

Hello ipcpsupport,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

This is by design and would require a feature request via your Polycom reseller and include a Polycom SE in order to create a business case justifying the change.

 

We usually only play a BUSY on receiving a 603 or a 486 to my knowledge.
