Hi

Is there a way to configure INVITE failover on the VVX model of phones?

currently using 4.1.6 and in config using:

        voIpProt.SIP.outboundProxy.failOver.failBack.mode="duration"
        voIpProt.SIP.outboundProxy.failOver.reRegisterOn="1"

        voIpProt.server.1.retryMaxCount="1"
        voIpProt.server.1.retryTimeOut="1000"
        voIpProt.server.1.transport="UDPOnly"

We are using outbound proxy in the config and there seems to be no parameters to be able to enable the retries to the outbound proxy - any ideas or guidance???

Cheers

Dave

Hi davem,

We use redundancy/failover for outbound (and inbound) calling, however in order to implement it we moved away from using the outboundProxy configuration, and we instead configured our lines to register to multiple servers.

I'm not sure if this is something you can do in your environment, but it might be something to consider.
