Hello All ...

I have just started to use the SPIP 335 on our network by registering it against our CS1000 rev 7.5.

I am able to register my lines, however I am trying to figure out how to deal with line 1 when on the line is busy.

Currently when line 1 is busy, the remote caller gets a busy signal. I would like to be able to either roll over to line 2 or send over to voicemail.

I have my extension assigned to line 1 and line 2 and both show as registered.

My intent is to replicate the setup were currently use on some legacy phones where line 1 would be 1234 and line 2 is 8001234. When the primary extension is called and in use, it will roll over to the secondary.

How can this be accomplished?

Hello SR_MCSE,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Would it not be better to ask this in a community specialising with your SIP switch ?

All the phone does is register to a line. All call handling is done by the switch. All you can do is limit the amount of calls per line you can make.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
