I bought a discontiinued but still functioning IP4000 phone.  Due to setup issues, phone was installed outside a firewall and was hacked.  The hacked phone is now unoperable and I am trying to set it back to factory defaults.  I have tried <removed by the moderator> as well as 456/123 and other key combinations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Zac,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

We do not disclose within this official Polycom community how to reset the Phones if the Admin Password is lost.

Many of our partners utilize these phones and offer services so we cannot publicly disclose the procedure to do so.

Please contact our support team .

We will remove any post replying to this that will publicly explain how to remove the password.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
