I unpacked 2 brand new IP 7000 conf phones yesterday and followed the Polycom document in detail for registering to the Mitel 5000 V6.0 SP2 I was able to get it to register without a problem but the weird thing is if you go offhook on the IP 7000 and then dial an extension it gives a fast busy when you dial the second digit. When you go offhook and dial 8 plus an outside number it just sits there. BUT if you dial the internal ext or outside number first without going offhook first then press the dial button it works perfect. I have never seen this before and it is the same condition on both new phones. Any ideas?

Thanks for the explanation. That is a long read. This system is in a 7 digit dialing area. The customer would not want any dialing restrictions. The Mitel 5000 requires an 8 to dial out. Can you provide an example of what the string should be changed to for allowing us to dial any number we want?

Hello murray,

The above quoted VoIP FAQ should contain sufficient information for you to setup your customers requirements.

As a quick and dirty workaround simply remove the whole digitmap.
