I've a Polcyom VVX600 and a Soundpoint 500 both showing same problem of delay in ending the call. Here is the scenario.
Polycom device initiates call to PSTN and stay on call more than 10 minutes. End the call from PSTN side , Polycom takes >7 seconds (on avg) to clear the call screen.
I've taken traces and the BYE from the Server reaches Polycom and Polycom device sent 200OK immediately as well, after that the Polycom IPPhone takes about 7-15 seconds to get out of the call screen.
I've tested the same call scenario using CISCO, Grandstream, and softphones all end the > 10min call immediately.
Please let me know if call captures or logs are required from devices to resolve this.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.
