Hi,

I've come across a problem with our provisioning templates which I'm struggling to work out. We use modified sip.cfg and phone-mac.cfg files to provision our IP321/331 phones. We use the <key> parameter within the files to remap the Line2 button to be a messages key - as follows:

<msg.mwi msg.mwi.1.subscribe="101" msg.mwi.1.callBackMode="contact" msg.mwi.1.callBack="*95" key.IP_330.10.function.prim = "Messages"

This had worked fine on previous versions of firmware and is referenced in this Polycom document: http://support.polycom.com/global/documents/support/technical/products/voice/Line2_to_Messages_Key_S...

However I have noticed that on 3.3.3 the config doesn't seem to have any effect, the line key isn't remapped.

Interested to hear others feedback on what might be wrong.

Thanks in advance

George

Hello George,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Using old files with the new UCS software can cause issues as certain parameters have changed.

I suggest to simply run the old configurations files through the cfcUtility. The FAQ should be consulted.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
