Hi,

I would like to know how to allow my ip331 to check the missed calls by pressing the down arrow? When i press the down arrow, it will shows the Received Calls including Missed Calls.

the ip331 running 4.0.2.11307, provisioning with the reg.cfg file attached.

Thanks

Alan

Hello AlanCheng,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I am not  if I fully understand your question.

The arrow keys have fixed assigned functionality i.e. pressing left right up or down will bringup the pre-defined directory.

I am not aware of a way to re-assign this other than swapping the function of the actual arrow keys around which would make things confusing when you navigate the menu.

Hi Steffen,

Thanks for your reply. I just wonder is it possible to change the default setting of the navi key on idle screen.

for my IP650, during the idle screen, press left = showing received calls, down = missed calls and right = placed calls.

but for my IP331, during the idle screen, press left = nothing, down = received calls, right = placed calls.

I would like to know is it possible to modify the ip331 navi key works like ip650.

Thanks

Alan

Hello AlanCheng,

This should be the same for both phones if they run the same software. The software you reported for the SPIP331 is rather old and you should run at least UC Software 4.0.8 on both phones.

Hi Steffen,

I have upgraded the ip331 to 4.0.8, but still the same.

Please check with the attached video for reference.

Thanks

Hello AlanCheng,

I checked our internal database and on these low end phones like the SPIP3XX range this is working as designed.

The SPIP331 display is a two line display and menu items are rendered without any soft key and only navigation keys are used for navigating the menu.

The Left arrow navigation key is used for going back to previous menu/screen and it was designed to handle only back navigation. That's why the missed call is consolidated with received call list for the SPIP331.

Therefore the SPIP 3xx models have a combined incoming calls list that calls are marked as received or missed based on the icon used.

In order to change this design a feature request would need to be raised as explained here:

Jan 03, 2013 Question: How can I request a change to the current Polycom SIP / UCS Software?

Resolution: Please check => here <=
