Hello and thanks for letting me post . I am trying to find out if anyone knows if the Poycom IP7000 will work with  Avaya Communication Manager 4.0 . The exact version is R014X.00.4.739.0  . I have an Avaya G650 Media Gateway . I have found some documentation stating the the phone was tested with CM 5.0 And should work, But nothing about CM 4.0.

see article here

Thanks For any guidance available .

Hello @smilch,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

We do not test all SIP providers and if Avaya has not done this with the version you are using and documented you can only try.

The most common mistake is people adding the SIP credentials the wrong way.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Can I register or is my Polycom Phone compatible with a “XYZ” SIP Server?

Resolution: Please check => here <=
