Hello,
I have a brand new multi-interface unit and 2 x IP 7000's. Despite my attempts I have failed to get even one ip 7000 to boot up when connected to the multi unit. The 7000 boots up instantly when connected directly to the network. The unit shows network traffic on it's LAN port.
Also, how on earth is this configured? Does it pick up the configuration of one of the IP 7000's? and share this info? We have the 7000 configured as a normal SIP extension on the IP PBX.
Frustrating to find so little information on this product.
Thanks,
Hello onnamission,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.
The above is also stated in the "Read First"
Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here
In addition are you connection the original 3.6m (12ft) Network Cable (10-pin) to the LAN jack on your phone once plugged into the Multi-Interface?
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
