Issue: Remote party can not hear IP7000 party, but IP7000 party can hear remote party.

At first I thought this may be user error, but it has happened nemerous times now (over the course of several months), and I actually was able to witness the issue once. I called with my cell phone to the dual IP7000 setup and witnessed the one way audio. That said, a reboot seemed to fix the issue. I'm attemping to not have to tell the end user to reboot the phone when they see the issue.

I browsed the firmware known issues, but nothing stuck out to me, and I don't want to update the firmware unless I have a reason to do so...

Bootblock: 3.0.20024

SIP: 4.0.1.13681

Updater: 5.0.1.10553

Thanks for the help,

Zach

Hello Zach,

this sounds like a firewall / port issue.

I would suggest a wireshark trace and then work with your SIP Server supplier or raise a ticket via your Polycom reseller.
