IP7000 firmware upgrade by USB

Hi,

Does anyone know of a way to do a firmware upgrade on an IP7000 by using a USB stick/dongle?

The only way I have seen advertised is to use an FTP server.

Thanks

Ben

Re: IP7000 firmware upgrade by USB

Hello Ben,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The only USB upgradeable devices are the CX5100, CX5500 and the Real Presence Trio.

All other Polycom VoIP Phones require an FTP or HTTP or TFTP or the secure variant of this setup locally of if already on UC Software 4.0.0 or later via the Web Interface.

Both options are described in the FAQ/
