We are planning to deploy four Trio 8500s and one Trio 8800.  They will be connected to a Shoretel system via SIP.  We woulf like to include a short contact list (same entries for all 5 phones).  The list would be static and manually updated.  I am planning to use cfg files to set other options.  Is there a way to upload a file via the web interface?

Hello @JimStruve,

This is simply as there is no option via the Web Interface. You requiere a 000000000000.cfg coming with a Firmware download and a 000000000000-directory.xml as shown in the FAQ post I linked.

Hello @JimStruve,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Resolution: This is not supported. Only the Polycom Trio can import speed dials via a USB stick in this format => here <=

UC Software Version 5.5.2.11338

I just upgraded the firmware on my test device to 

UC Software Version 5.5.4.2255.

I still don't see anything in the web interface.  I checked the Administration guide also.
