Intercom Volume

IP 550 Phone

 

I'm having a problem with the intercom function. I can contact someone via intercom and they can hear me but I cannot hear them. Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted?

Hello kiphorn,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

It would also be good to specify if you are using a SIP Header or the built in PTT functionality.

Here's what I found:

 

Label-SIP

Version- 4.0.4.2906

P/N- 3150-11530-404

File- SIP.ld

 

Haven't setup PTT so I assume SIP

Hello kiphorn,

via the SIP header you have various ways of Answering the call including to mute the far end.

The below FAQ post explains the basic functionality:
