HI:

I have three Polycom VV310 Phones maked as P1\P2\P3

SCA primary accont "A" already registered on P1, secondary "A_1" registered on P2.

P3 dial number A, P1/P2 ringing at the same time ,P2 accept the call.

now I want P1 to barge in this call,  but i cannot find any button or softkeys support this.

Is Polycom VV310 support SCA barge in?

Looking forward to your reply, Thanks!

Hello lizb,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I suggest you check the Admin Guide for the Configuring Shared Call Appearances section.

Above explains that:

With the shared call appearance feature enabled, an active call displays simultaneously on multiple phones in a group. By default, the answering phone has sole access to the incoming call, called line seize. You can enable another phone in the group the ability to enter a conversation, called a barge in. If the answering phone places the call on hold, that call

becomes available to all phones of that group. The parameters you can configure are listed in Table 7-22: Configuring Shared Call Appearances. All call states of a call —active, inactive, on hold—are displayed on all phones of a group.
This feature is dependent on support from a SIP call server. To enable shared call appearances on your phone, you will need to obtain a shared line address from your SIP service provider. For more details on SIP signaling with shared call appearances, see Shared Call Appearance Signaling.

You should look at the following parameter:

reg.x.bargeInEnabled

  • If 0, barge-in is disabled for line x.

  • If 1, barge-in is enabled (remote users of shared call appearances can interrupt or barge in to active calls.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

HI:

   thanks for your reply.

I apply the config with reg.1.bargeInEnabled = 1,but still cannot bargin.

when one IP phone answer the call, other lamps lights out.

when I check the packet ,I even cannot find subscribe packet with call-info  header.

   is it normal  behaviour?

   Looking forward to your reply,.

   Best Regards
