I'm rolling out some SoundPoint IP 550 phones, and the 'date and time' window takes up a huge amount of the LCD's real estate.   I'm use to Cisco 79xx phones where I could easily put a user's full name or their direct dial number on each line of the display, but it seems like the amount of descriptor real estate on the IP 550 is pretty limited per line (only 10 characters; going over results in the display showing "..45-234-3434" etc. so I lose the entire number being displayed).

Is there a way to modify the screen layout, so that I can have 12 characters per line, so I can show a line's associated phone number as 222.222.2222?

Hello onetech-it,

Same reply as last time.

Could you please ensure to provide some feedback on your original post's before starting new posts?

To my knowledge you cannot customize the length of the number.

You could maybe use a background Picture via the Microbrowser.

Best Regards
