Device:  VVX 410

UC Software:  4.1.7 or 5.2 (have both in lab)

Question:  Is it possible to gather from the device LLDP information via HTTP polling techniques.  Specifically looking for Switch Name and Port.

EX:  Query  http://phoneIP/polling/LLDP

and receive XML output of LLDP data on phone received from switch in similar fashion to other polling (such **bleep** /polling/deviceHandler)

Hello UCDlfross,

No, the phone does not display any received LLDP data to an end customer.

The logs can contain LLDP or CDP information the phone receives but these are not specific to the connected switch port as the phone can receive both LLDP or CDP information during obtaining of a DHCP IP address.

The Switch Port the Phone is connected to should receive the LLDP messages from the phone when booting up.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
