Let’s Encrypt certificate

Good afternoon to all,

Is Let’s Encrypt certificate supported ? - I assume Provisioning and the micro browser would be mutual on this.

1) Here its states it as a "resolved issue" http://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP/Software-UC-Software-4-0-12-has-been-released/m-p/91552/highlig... - not sure if adding a new certificate is.... also its listed as VOIP-124676

2) Here its listed as VOIP-124676 http://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP/missing-root-CA-certificate-Identrust-DST-Root-CA-X3/m-p/85320#...

3) I can not seem to find the latest actual release from Polycom as the one listed is probably outdated.  http://support.polycom.com/content/dam/polycom-support/products/Voice/business_media_phones/other-do...

With all the above I have the following

When trying to pull a mb.main.home="https://site.com/the-logo.png"

VVX400 5.6.0.17325

0722041041|brow |4|00|Browser has encountered a SSL error [Id:22]The host name did not match any of the valid hosts for this certificate

Re: Let’s Encrypt certificate

Hello SamF,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

We definitely added it into 5.5.2 and we added the DST ROOT CA X3

Can you downgrade and test and then lower the logging levels to see what the issue is?

Re: Let’s Encrypt certificate

Hello SamF,

The next step is to open a ticket with our support team.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Re: Let’s Encrypt certificate

Hello SamF,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Thanks for following this up with the community.

The root cause was that we did not support "Server Name Indication (SNI)extension" with our Microbrowser when getting certificate chain from Web Server over OpenSSL.
