Hi

I have IP7000 handsets connected to Avaya system we had two handsets which were both originally Rev:P and were working in dual phone mode until we had to send one for repair.

When we got the one back from repair looks to have been replaced rather than reparied and looks to be an older Rev.1 handset and we cannot get these working in dual phone mode could advise if they are compatible and if so what needs to be done.

Thank in advance.

3111-40000-001 Rev. 1 (older)

UC Software Version      4.0.4.2906

BootROM Software Version        5.0.5.2324

3111-40000-001 Rev:P (NEW)

UC Software Version      4.0.4.2906

BootROM Software Version        5.0.5.2324

Hello dazamans,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Are you sure you are using the original 10 Pin Cable with the RJ48 (not RJ45) that came with the multi module ?

Hello dazamans,

I have not yet seen such a case but not sure who you actually returned the original unit back to and what they have done.

Do you have any Polycom RMA reference or was this via some third party?

Believe it was sent back to Polycom but will have to follow up on that but it does appear to have been replaced rather than repaired.

I will recheck the cabling in the meantime see if it is anything daft.

Thnk you

Darren

Hello dazamans,

I am confused. In your original post you wrote they are both on the same software version and I had also asked for the relevant Polycom reference.

Why did the units require upgrading?
