I have a couple of questions regarding wall-mounting these phones.  The business-owner is complaining about the wall-mounted phones sticking out too far and the upward tilt that the wall-mount bracket provides (I realize that some of this is necessary for cable-management).  The wall-mounted stations are mounted about 5 feet up and with the upward tilt, shorter employees are having trouble seeing the display.

When looking at these phones with the owner, we noticed that there are a couple of horizontally-arranged mounting slides on the phone that almost line up with the standard wall plate peg spacing but not quite.  All of the mounting-related documents that I've been able to find so far for these phones make no mention of these mysterious built-in mounting holes.

So my question is: are there any lower-profile alternatives to the wall-mount plate that is normally used with these phones?  I certainly haven't been able to find any.  In lieu of that, could anyone shed some light on the horizontally-oriented built-in mounting holes?

Many thanks for any info that anyone can provide.
