Hello silwerandrew,

Polycom and other manufacturers produce these optimized for Microsoft® Lync® devices after a reference design and the embedded OS running on the phones is provided, supported and maintained by our partner Microsoft®.

You therefore may want to reach out to the Microsoft® community and / or Microsoft® support directly instead as this is the most direct and efficient path.

Please try here

Briefly looking at your Microsoft Logs:

0:00:48.170.877 :  UCD_LOG_ERROR: 08/17/2015|06:31:49 Uccapi: 08/17/2015|06:31:49.686 5510002:59A000A ERROR :: HRESULT API failed: 80004005 = ProcessOption43Suboptions( pSubOptionBytes, iLen, bType, dhcp43SubOptInfo )

The above shows you have an Option 43 Issue.

I would suggest you check your Option 43 via a wireshark trace and then work with the Microsoft Community on further troubleshooting this.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier

If you haven't already please read this atrical. It is the best write up I know of for how to setup DHCP option 43 for Lync Phones.  This is how the Aries phones get their certificate and is used for PIN auth.

http://blog.schertz.name/2012/05/understanding-dhcp-option-43/

You can also jusy copy the working options from your other DHCP scope.

If that is correct then look at firewall policy and routing.

HP Recommended

dhcp option are this  same  like in  working vlan , is  no   firewall because it is just local newtwork, routing is  done by 3 layer switch,

phone is reciving ip correct to vlan from dhcp but issue is with certificate

Are you still getting this message?  This is the phone failing to parse the option 43 sub options.   From your other logs it is working from the other DHCP scope.

0:00:48.170.877 :  UCD_LOG_ERROR: 08/17/2015|06:31:49 Uccapi: 08/17/2015|06:31:49.686 5510002:59A000A ERROR :: HRESULT API failed: 80004005 = ProcessOption43Suboptions( pSubOptionBytes, iLen, bType, dhcp43SubOptInfo )

It looks like you also posted this on Network Steve and got the same response.  Next would be to try Microsoft support or a certified partner's support.

problem with Registrar FQDN cannot be found for about 30 sec, and when phone finally signed in I have about 5-10 seconds time out before proper call but only in new Vlan, in old vlan works fine

Hello silwerandrew,

there is definitely a network or routing issue / difference to the other Lan segments or it would work.

To troubleshoot this you will need your IT department to check this using wireshark or other troubleshooting tools.

You may want to engage Microsoft support or other third parties to ensure your network is setup correctly.

In addition you can engage Polycom professional services that also have a variation of offers to do this for your organisation.

Best Regards
