Hi everyone,
Just realized that SPIP phones would not subscribe to 'message-summary' event when their lines are shared. (reg.x.type="shared")
Tested with various 4.x UCS versions but all of them did not send a subscription as configured in 'msg.wmi.x.subscribe' property.
Following is a snippet of configurations.
reg.1.address="30101" reg.1.type="shared" reg.1.bargeInEnabled="1" msg.mwi.1.callBack="vm30101" msg.mwi.1.callBackMode="contact" msg.mwi.1.subscribe="vm30101"
Is it an expected behavior? Has anyone exprienced the same issue?
The Admin Guide (4.x) never mentions that MWI feature is disabled in shared line mode.
Clarification will be highly appreciated!
Hello Wonbin,
welcome back to the Polycom Community.
I am not aware of such restriction or any issue and we would need to see a wireshark trace and some logs of the phone.
Please raise this with your Polycom reseller so this can be brought to the attention of Polycom support.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards

I'm having the same issue, the release notes of version 4.1.1 say this is fixed but I tested the firmware and it is not fixed.
