we use Poly Resource Manager as the management software for our Polycom Trio phones.

The Polycom Trios are installed as Skype clients. They pull the address book via the Skpe server. Unfortunately, nothing appears in Resource Manager under Directory --> Global Address Book.

How can I tell our Trios that they can use offline or online address books?

Hello buenyamin.demirezen@mtu.de ,

Welcome back to the Poly Community.

I had already replied how to setup a local directory:

You can also use a local LDAP Server:

Skype for Business ABS is automatic once the phone user signs into the device. Outlook is also based on the user account. Questions around this need to be answered by our partner Microsoft as these are normal Skype for Business workflows.

Hello buenyamin.demirezen@mtu.de ,

Welcome back to the Poly community.

Some or a couple of your old post(s) or reply(s) to them => here <= are still open/pending as you have not marked these as "Accept as a solution" or at least provide some form of feedback or answer.

If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know if an answer or advice provided was useful and has maybe helped you.

Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate?

If they are marked as "Accept as a solution" other users can find these easier and it helps them to utilise the community more efficiently. Please do not simply mark them without any type of feedback.

For your new issue, only Poly VVX 1500 phones can access the RPRM GAB. All other Poly Phones use their own format.

Simply import a 000000000000-directory.xml via the Resource Option on RPRM

Thank you very much for your reply.
I have now marked my older posts as solved.

Question for this. This is now a process for the offline address book or?

What about the online address books. Our address book is pulled from our skype. It is always maintained.

How would you act if you were me?
How is it proper?
What do I need to do to make sure our trios get the current address books. I think if you work with the offline address books, it doesn't make much sense, because the address books are updated regularly.

Hello buenyamin.demirezen@mtu.de

The Skype Addressbook will be able to access a customers outlook contacts as well.

If this is not sufficient you can setup a local directory.
