Managing Lync qualified devices throught Lync server

Hi Steffen,

                    Can Polycom's Lync Qualified devices (SPIP,SSIP)  devices managed via Lync admin server for upgrading firmwares?  I understand CX series devices will have closer integration with Lync than SP series.  I am trying to find some online help.

 

I would be a great help if you give me some reference or a answered post to follow up.

Hello Ganesh,

Only since UC Software 5.0.0 can we support Firmware updates via the LYNC server.

 

The SPIP and SSIP range does not support such latest firmware and therefore cannot be upgraded via the LYNC server.
