Hi there,

We are using a 4 digit prefix password on our PBX to authorize outgoing calls. Unfortunately the 4 digits are being displayed on the Polycom Sound Point IP330 phones when we dial and only disappears when the phone connects. For password security reasons, this solution has been rejected.

Example: Password is 1234

Currently phone displays: 12340211293040

Required phone display: ****0211293040

Kindly please advise on what we need to do to mask/hide the first 4 digits that are dialled.

Thank you.

Hello Elizm,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

The SoundPoint IP 320/330 are discontinued and have not been available for purchase since after 12/31/2009. Support for the product was available until 12/31/2014.

I have not seen such request prior and it is not something we support.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
