Hello,

I am wanting to have a USB drive with the base USB profile with wifi enabled with ssid and password for the network I want to add it too.

I was looking to see if this was possible and I added the Polycom Trio 8800: 3111-65290-001.sip.ld

and changed the master config to have all the settings i wanted the profile to have such as USB profile and wifi enabled with the log in information.

When I plugged USB drive into a phone that is just using a power injector nothing happens besides the phone changing the master cfg file to basic and adds the <MAC>.cfg file with phone recording folders and other things to the drive.

So my question is is there a way I can have it so I plug the USB drive and it pulls the master config file i created and not added the other things and change the master file. Because I need to do this on 100+ phones.

Sorry if this is confusing. Let me know anything you would like me to explain further.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you very much. the trio.cfg and having the master one point to it was our main issue.

Now we are able to get the profile set and wifi enabled. Now I am running into the issue where once it has finished its updates it wont connect to the ssid that i provided with the password.

Hello @Chris_N

Welcome back to the Poly Community.

You still have not updated how you solved your issue in the past >here<

For your new issue, your post never told us what software version you are encountering the issue with and/or if you have restarted the Trio after this.

Other volunteers within the community are welcome to comment as well but if you still struggle and need support please check the below.

In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support. Available End User Poly services offerings are detailed here

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.

If the unit is no longer within the warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
