My company recently updated it's Polycom software to 4.0.2 and I noticed that the Messages button on my SoundPoint IP 650 SIP no longer maps directly to my inbox. I need to jump through 3 menus before I can select the option to check my messages. 

 

Is there any way to configure the phone so I can simply press the Messages button and be taken directly to my inbox? FWIW, that was the behavior prior to this upgrade.

I am unsure what software you upgraded from but I advise to check the boot & app logs as a source of error finding.

a good start would be to provide some information what software you have been using before.

 

Did you check the logs for any errors?

Did the person who upgraded the phones check that they are not using any pre- UCS 3.3.x Parameters?
