Hi

 

Please I need to know if SoundPoint Ip331 support microbrowser features.

By the way I have tried to make it work but it seems nothings happens on the device

 

Menu

Applications

1 Apps Continue

2 Apps home

 

I have set;

Browser Proxy: IP address of  server where is running Tomcat

Main Browser Home:  IP address of  server where is running Tomcat with a sample application helloworld.html

 

When I push apps home no action and packet send to server

 

Details

Model:SoundPoint IP331

BootROM:4.3.1.0440

Application

Main

Label SIP version 3.2.6.0314

Before posting these message I have search any related information

The http field it correspond to local lan address, just in my case I set http://192.168.2.1:8080

No from initial setting it have configured with server IP address (192.168.2.8:8080), By the way I checking with Wireshark and device no send any package to server, even if I push refresh or whatever.

Is someway to activated a trace on the device or access to some log information?

I am still not sure if I fully understand what you are setting as the address.

 

An example would be:

 

mb.main.home="http://www.google.co.uk"

 

or as in your case

 

mb.main.home="http://192.168.2.1:8080/helloworld.html"

If you still struggle please work with your Polycom Reseller.

Thanks, I will try to set another address as mb.main.home="http://www.google.co.uk"

By the way device have acquired on advance training course of Asterisk last year, therefore I'm not sure to contact a reseller

It have international guaranty system?

I am unsure about the Asterisk Reference but any support for End Customers on devices within their warranty period is provided by the Polycom Reseller you have purchased the device from.

Thanks again!

Well I could make it work, as you posted I have set onto main browser home your sample url, and it start work, but if I change to another still not working work, but after a time it works.

It seems now is working, I guest for make it work you have to access menu Application and push any option and wait after device return to main screen.

After these condition you can access and see on display main browser home url setting.
