We have a soundstation ip7000 that we are using in a conference room.  The mic on the phone is so sensitive that it picks up every little paper shuffle or noise and drowns out the person who is actually speaking.  

 

Is there any way to reduce the sensitivity?  You literally have to sit like a statue to keep it from picking up any movement.

Any suggestions?  Right now we have a great paper weight but crummy speaker phone.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

UC software for the IP 7000 is 

 

UC Software: 4.4.4.2906

That is not the software.

 

A valid software would be for example 4.0.11 or 4.0.9 or so.

Hi

Is there any resolution to this issue? we have IP 7000 Station with Group 500 Codec. The microphone is pickng up the **bleep** minute sound and making uncomfortable expericence.

 

Please assist.
